JJ Ambrose first came to Tiger Muay Thai and MMA Phuket as a guest. Fresh off a disappointing UFC‘s Ultimate Fighter Elimination bout, Ambrose headed to Asia to refocus his career. Winning 17 out of his first 20 professional bouts, Ambrose eventually made the move fulltime to Asia and accepted a wrestling position with Tiger Muay Thai.
A Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Brown Belt under Tracy Hess of the Subfighter academy, Ambrose will be fighting Brent Weedman in the opening round of the Bellator Lightweight Tournament this March.
Undefeated in professional Muay Thai bouts in Thailand, Tiger Muay Thai is looking forward to coach Ambrose showcasing his improved striking skills.
